ABOUT US
Little Britain is an initiative to bring the best of Montessori teaching, Kindergarten and Nursery facilities to shape a better future for Kochi. We are a unit of Shantiniketan, Madhya Pradesh which is a reputed Montessori-CBSE school churning out successful students for over 40 years. We consider Nature as the best teacher and have hence, developed a spacious property of 25 cents of land with a Laurie Baker style of house, made into a castle for the little princes and princesses.
Little Britain is the place where children from the age of 1.8 years onwards can play, learn and nurture a great relationship with nature and each other in the safest way, developing their intellectual, artistic, creative and emotional quotients. We offer the best facilities to treat them royally while also ensuring that they stay rooted to their grounds, nurturing humanity and great relationships.
Our premises are children-friendly, letting them explore the open nature under ample shade, with minimal or no gadgets. We have trees, plants, vegetable garden, swings, slides, sandpit, and pool, keeping them rooted to nature, which is mostly missed by the urban crowd. We help them read, write, draw, sing, dance, build, think, and act with the best & proven methods followed in Montessori, Kindergarten and Nursery style of teaching. Ours is a learning and development centre, rather than a typical playschool or preschool, offering personal attention and care to children at an age they need it the most.

Euphie K Paul
Euphie heads the team of Little Britain. She is a certified Montessori Teacher and a tech-savvy MBA from the Liverpool John Moores University, UK. Euphie completed her BA in Journalism from Sacred Heart College, Ernakulam. She was the school leader and showcased an excellent track record in academics as well as extra-curricular activities.
She has 8+ years of experience working for corporates in India and abroad. Euphie has donned many hats in her corporate career from working with ace advertising and media companies to promoting a retail business in the UK. She has also worked for Sobha Developers and The Prestige Group. Beyond that, she’s a doting mother to an 11-month old boy who is her real inspiration to start Little Britain.
Grace George
Grace George received her Montessori training directly from Dr Maria Montessori, the pioneer in child psychology. She is the Chair Person of Shantiniketan Montessori Senior Secondary School in Madhya Pradesh. With the exemplary training received and her passion towards the children, Grace George lead the school to receive many awards and accolades in the educational sector.
She played a pivotal role in ensuring equal rights for education of girl children and women empowerment in the locality. Grace George is one of the chief advisories of Little Britain.
Dr Rishi George MD
Consultant Internal Medicine, Diabetology and Cardiometabolic Diseases Dr Rishi trained from few reputed institutes like CMC Vellore, NIMHANS, and Johns Hopkins USA. He believes in the concept "Vasudeva Kutumbakam" (meaning the whole world is my family) and that education is the key to spread this beautiful message.
Tanio D’Cruz
MD - Jewel Homes, UK
Tanio started Jewel Homes, an esteemed real estate agency in the UK, 10 years back. He is a qualified expert in real estate investments and the father of two beautiful daughters. An Indian by origin, Tanio's UK experience lays a strong background for Little Britain. The international sensation, The Voice and Disney artist, Leah Jewel is Tanio’s daughter.
Dr Sonali D’Cruz MBBS FRCPCH
Dr D’Cruz is a Consultant Paediatrician in the UK. She trained in Paediatrics in London. She has a specialist interest in Paediatric Diabetes and Endocrinology and is a member of the British Society of Paediatric Endocrinology and Diabetes. Dr D’Cruz practices at Ashford and St Peter’s Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust, The BMI Runnymede Hospital, Chertsey and The Harley Street Clinic Children’s Hospital, London. She is passionate about children and has a holistic approach in her management. Dr D’Cruz lives in the UK with her husband and two beautiful daughters..

The Intelligentsia Factor
Little Britain is proud to be associated with Intelligentsia, a well-researched pre-school started by Dr Gaurav Nigam, an accomplished child specialist. His research on child behaviour revealed some astounding realities which he wanted to explore further for a better childhood experience which would essentially result in making them geniuses. He then formed a team of Teachers, Educationists, Curriculum Setters, Child Psychologists, Paediatricians, Parents, and Children. After a decade of extensive research, he formed Intelligentsia in 2018, an innovative approach to early childhood education.
Little Britain, empowered by Intelligentsia, will help our children leverage Gaurav’s team’s research and findings along with our sincere efforts to help children experience childhood as their most cherished times.

Our association with Montessori teaching started with Grace George. She played a pivotal role in building the Shantiniketan Montessori Senior Secondary School, Madhya Pradesh from an early childhood Montessori school to a full-fledged Senior Secondary school which emphasizes on providing quality education that aims at empowering the students to emerge successful in different ways of life. Little Britain is proud to be a unit of the esteemed organization and aims at spreading the light of knowledge to every child who comes to us.

We believe in the deep-rooted Indian philosophy “Vasudaiva Kudumbakam”, meaning, the entire world is a family. In the ancient days, the children at home used to be taken care of the elderly grandparents who shared beautiful and enticing stories of virtue which inspired and shaped the young minds to love one another selflessly. At a time when more urban children grow up in nuclear families, they tend to miss the care and nurture offered by their grandparents. We aim to bridge that gap, offering utmost care and nurture to the young children who will grow up to be the future generation.
Pre-schools are the place where nurturing begins. That’s why, at Little Britain, we strive to inculcate the virtues of love, respect and nurture in young children who come to us. We motivate them to be happy and take care of self and one another. We share beautiful stories of integrity and inspire them to be good and do good. We chose our nature-friendly premises to keep the children rooted to nature and train them on essential age-appropriate life-skills.
